Comeback Kid is a hardcoreband from Winnipeg, Canada. Their style is largely influenced by late 80s hardcore/punk, as well as current hardcore bands such as Bane and Terror. The guitar layers are melodic and heavy and the rhythm section is based fundamentally on punk ethos. Comeback Kid have been defined as a hardcore/punk band as well as a positive hardcore band. The band was formed in 2002 by Andrew Neufeld and Jeremy Hiebert, members of the band Figure Four, as well as their friends Scott Wade and Kyle Profetta, originally as a side project.
